What is cellulite? Cellulite is the irregular skin surface found in many people, especially in the thighs and leg. It is caused by weight gain and may be related to hormonal imbalance. Cellulite is a symptom of weight gain and has the appearance of an orange peel or cottage cheese. The irregularities are also a result of a poor dermis.
