EPI Process Engineers

Functions:

  • Grows GaN LEDs using MOCVD process on Emcore reactors
  • Responsible for ensuring process runs correctly, technicians assigned to area are trained properly, maintains equipment, and sets-up and schedules LED production runs
  • Coordinates with Characterization engineers for analysis of EPI-film quality and recipe tuning

Knowledge/skills desired:

  • BS/MS in Electrical/Chemical engineering, Materials Science, or related field
  • Knowledge/experience required with MOCVD/MOVPE/MBE processes of III-V materials, high vacuum equipment, and toxic gases/material systems (GaAs, AIGaAs, InGaAs, GalnP, InGaAsP, AllnGaP)
  • Working knowledge of SPC and ISO 9000
